- As part of an independent study in Mach, we'd like to install 3.0 on
- some machine here in our department. Local rumor has it that we won't
- have much luck installing it on a DEC 5000/120, due to a problem with
- a particular device (sorry, I can't remember details). Can anyone
- confirm or refute this? (The same local rumor states that we would be
- able to install it on a 5000/100, if only we had one.)
-
- If the problem IS due to a particular device, how hard would it be to
- cobble together a device driver for someone who's never done it
- before? (I know it's a silly question, but . . . .)
-
- Thanks.
-
- John.
