  13. I have a little problem with screen (the program which gives you multiple 
  14. virtual terminals on a terminal) on Mach386. When I run it from the
  15. console, everything goes just fine, no problems at all, but, 
  16. when I use it from a /dev/tty0x (terminal or modem), it doesn't 
  17. give any of the output of the shell run in the virtual to me.
  18. All characters I write go through just fine (I can see it by running
  19. commands which use disk - disk's led flashes) but I cannot get 
  20. any output. But, however, screen's own messages come through
  21. (like "Bell in window one" or help screen or window list etc.)

  23. I think the problem is more general one, because I have tried 
  24. screen 3.2, iScreen and GNU Screen and none of those worked. All
  25. did the same, EXCEPT iScreen which displayed some of the shells
  26. output, but it was always two or three lines behind, cursor was
  27. somewhere and after few lines it did the same thing and displayed
  28. nothing after that.

  30. Have anyone tried running screen via serial line? Otherwise the
  31. serial lines work just fine after I updated UARTs to 16550AFN's.
