- I've been trying to get xload to run under X11R5 but although it compiles and
- the permissions are correct for it to reference /dev/kmem it doesn't work.
- I've tracked the problem to the actual lseek and read of the load average.
- The call to nlist for "_avenrun" returns some nl[0].value =0xc015b108 (which
- beats me if it's correct) and after the lseek to this offset and read into
- the double loadavg reports loadavg=-2.00 constantly.

- /usr/ucb/w works properly (believably at least) but attempts to copile w.c
- from the Mach sources gives the same results. Can someone tell me what I'm
- missing here? Thanks.
