- Summary: Minix FS to Extended FS
- Keywords: EFS mount
-
-
- I've seen a lot of posts lately about 14 character long
- filenames and the Extended FS, which seems to be fairly
- stable. I was wondering, how easy is it to use the EFS.
-
- Is it just a matter of mounting it as an EFS or do you
- need to re-partition/re-install the dev?
-
- My Linux(minix) partition is /dev/hda2
- I'm using gcc 2.2.2d and Linux 0.97pl2, and I do have
- the new mount.
-
- BTW - I installed gcc 2.2.2d with NO problems, in fact
- I was worried I had done something wrong because
- it was too easy... :D
