  25. It's not just you.  I got pissed off enough to rewrite adduser myself.
  26. After I uploaded it, I was told of a huge security hole in it, so I reworked
  27. it.  So if you download something named 'adduser' written by me, you'll 
  28. probably want the newer one, with a different name:  In the process I added 
  29. some functionality, and renamed it "pwdutils".

  31. I grant you that it's obscure enough that you would't think it included
  32. an "adduser" utility, but the main program allows root to do anything you want
  33. to /etc/passwd without editing, so I chose to name it pwdutil.

  35. In any case, I put it on tsx-11, but since I haven't seen the announcement
  36. for it, I suppose it is still in /incoming limbo.  So I also put it on
  37. sunsite, (sunsite.unc.edu I think).  It may be still in the incoming directory
  38. there too, but at least it's readable.
