- I tried to use the RAM disk tonight but ran into a bit of a problem. I
- compiled the kernel with the RAM disk support. Then made a file system
- using the command mkfs /dev/ram 512 and mounted /dev/ram. However, I
- keep getting I/O error messages relating to thr RAM disk. Did I use
- the correct procedure in using the RAM disk? (I couldn't find anything
- in the FAQ). If so, what would be the source of trouble here? Any help
- is appreciated.
