  12. I tried to use the RAM disk tonight but ran into a bit of a problem. I
  13. compiled the kernel with the RAM disk support. Then made a file system
  14. using the command mkfs /dev/ram 512 and mounted /dev/ram. However, I
  15. keep getting I/O error messages relating to thr RAM disk. Did I use
  16. the correct procedure in using the RAM disk? (I couldn't find anything
  17. in the FAQ). If so, what would be the source of trouble here? Any help
  18. is appreciated.
