- Has anyone else had problems compiling these programs? I would assume that since
- the programs have been up on the FTP site for some time that they should work.
- When I try to compile PS I get errors in the CRYPT file. For the ADDUSER program,
- I get an error message 'unreliable "getc" function - wierd? Also the program
- compiles. but runs into an endless loop and keeps asking about ROOT permissions
- for a user. For the ADMUTIL the program crashes again with the CRYPT problem.
-
- I'm running 0.97pl1, with GCC 2.2.2d . I'll apply the pl2 patch tonight and have
- another go. Is my error that I am not running the second patch, or do I need
- to have the old 2.2.2 libs? Also I simply MAKE the makefile, should I be more
- explicit with:
-
- make -I /usr/src/linux ???
-
- I'dlike to know if its just me or the programs do have problems.
