  26. Hell, CMS can't even get there own software to run under Microsoft Windows
  27. reliably!  (re: version 2.54 of the Jumbo Tape drive software.)  What makes you
  28. think it will work under LINUX?  Since they are re-programming the floppy
  29. controller, I hope that we can access the tape drive and the floppy at the same
  30. time!  (After all, it could be two different users using each!)

  35. Er, um, the IBM BIOS?  Oh, you wanted GOOD documentation!  How well is the LINUX
  36. floppy driver commented?  Linus must have coded it from some specification.

  38. Anyone know for sure what CMS does to access the tape drive (instead of the floppy)?
  39. Do they just use the third (or fourth) device select line and drive the floppy
  40. controller directly (bypassing the BIOS)?
