  23. I'm a newbie myself, but I suspect that there are several of us with
  24. the same question. Please summarize any responses you get.

  26. I'd guess that the really hard part to getting a tape driver up
  27. would be getting the vendor to part with sufficient documentation to
  28. write one. If anyone's trying to write such a driver and is stuck
  29. because the vendor is holding out, let us know and maybe (maybe) we
  30. can bring some pressure to bear.

  32. I have a CMS DJ-10 which I'd dearly love to use with Linux. But I'm
  33. willing to junk it and buy from a vendor who will support the Linux
  34. community.
