- I just bought a 16Mhz 386SX "noname" PC complete with 256K VGA (I think it
- was Trident, so sue me) for my Dad from Sam's Discount Warehouse (or whatever
- they call themselves). US$899 for 2MB RAM, 5.25 & 3.5 drives, and 109MB IDE.
- No-name mouse (Looks like a Logitech clone). Four expansion slots, and a
- mini-desktop case. It came with DRDOS 6.0 and WIndows 3.1 bundled, along with
- PFS:Works. In this newsgroup, who cares!
-
- I beleive the Brand name was KLH or KHL or something like that. They had
- a 25MHz 386SX with a 40MB drive for about the same price (the rest of the
- configuration was about the same). This is about as cheap as I've seen
- mail-order for 386's. Though for a couple of hundred more, I'm sure you can
- get a DX instead of an SX. (And get a 486 for a couple of hunder more than that!)
