- Using mks vi under DOS I can map the umlaut equivalents of a,A,o,O,u,U
- to F1 through F6. Does anyone know whether or not this is possible for
- any of the vi variants (vile,elvis) under Linux? This is not of
- universal importance, but I do some corresponding in German and it would
- a help to me if I did not need to exit Linux and boot DOS just for this
- facility. Thanks for any help.
