  11. Hi,
  12. I'm trying to find out whether or not those tape backup units which use the
  13. floppy interface connectors will work under linux. My information has it that
  14. they don't require a device driver under DOS but only work with specific
  15. software which is hence probably doing the job of the driver.

  17. Does anyone know anything more, specifically whether they can be used under
  18. Linux without me having to write a device driver.

  20. The brand names that seem to occur most frequently are alloy and mountain.
