- G'day -
-
- I've just finished installing linux on my new 386 compat, and I'm
- pleased to say I love it. (In fact, I've already made one other convert...)
- However, I've run into one small problem: Following the instructions in
- shoelace.doc from tsx, when I attempt to boot from the HD, it gets as far
- as the "Load Image" message, the hard drive continues to work for a few
- seconds, then stops moving, while the drive light remains on. I've had
- no trouble booting from floppy using the file system on the hard drive;
- also, shoelace will happily boot my DOS partition. All the printout from
- shoelace agrees with the example given in the docs... So, I'm somewhat
- puzzled. Anyone have any ideas?
-
- Thanks greatly,
-
