  14.     I've just finished installing linux on my new 386 compat, and I'm
  15. pleased to say I love it.  (In fact, I've already made one other convert...)
  16. However, I've run into one small problem: Following the instructions in
  17. shoelace.doc from tsx, when I attempt to boot from the HD, it gets as far
  18. as the "Load Image" message, the hard drive continues to work for a few
  19. seconds, then stops moving, while the drive light remains on.  I've had
  20. no trouble booting from floppy using the file system on the hard drive;
  21. also, shoelace will happily boot my DOS partition.  All the printout from
  22. shoelace agrees with the example given in the docs...  So, I'm somewhat
  23. puzzled.  Anyone have any ideas?
