- It seems as though the fervent talk about MGR has given way for X, but
- in my quest for a graphical environment (and my possession of both a
- Stealth and Trident card), I would like to get MGR running on my system.
- The version that I was able to get ahold of (off sunsite.unc.edu)
- appears to support my Trident 8900c card just fine, but I find no direct
- support for a bus mouse. My Logitech Bus Mouse (using /dev/modem) and
- the included Microsoft Mouse driver (I was into experimentation at the
- time) almost talked to each other. I was able to get the opening
- screen, the mouse pointer, and was able to move the arrow along the top
- row of the screen (with a little effort, mind you).
-
- I don't find it surprising that there is an imcompatibility here, but
- I'd like to know if someone has had success with such a setup. I'm
- running 0.97pl2, so it's got the built-in bus mouse support.
-
- Thanks!
