  13. Is it normal for executables compiled under 0.97 to be on the average about
  14. 10K larger than those compiled under 0.96?  I was under the impression that
  15. the shared libraries would reduce not only memory consumption, but the size
  16. on disk as well?  Or is there so much new stuff in the 2.2.2d libraries that
  17. the actual executable is larger??
