  11. I recently updated all of my device names in /dev and noticed an
  12. interesting qwirk.  The serial line (ttys0 -- modem) will get garbage
  13. if you mount either fd0 or fd1.  The message generated by mount 
  14. following a success is "broadcast" to all the other tty's.  This
  15. is only noticable during zmodem file transfer using kermit
  16. (this is done at the kermit prompt using the shell command:
  17. sz < /dev/ttys0 > /dev/ttys0 )
