- I recently updated all of my device names in /dev and noticed an
- interesting qwirk. The serial line (ttys0 -- modem) will get garbage
- if you mount either fd0 or fd1. The message generated by mount
- following a success is "broadcast" to all the other tty's. This
- is only noticable during zmodem file transfer using kermit
- (this is done at the kermit prompt using the shell command:
- sz < /dev/ttys0 > /dev/ttys0 )
-
- Anyone else experience this?
-
- Thanks.
