- (2) R/O filesystems. For those who have never worked on filesystems
- before.

- I don't understand all the traffic about something that wouldn't be
- feasible, anyway. Compression on a regular filesystem should work
- great, with only a small decrease in speed. Compression on anything
- else (like a swap partition) just shows your ignorance. Sure, it would
- work, but it would require a *lot* of changes to the kernel.
