  11. I've received several requests for speed comparisons between the 8514/A
  12. and other graphics cards (ET4000, ET4000 localbus, S3, and S3 localbus).
  13. The S3 cards are not currently supported, but I've heard rumors that some
  14. people are trying to get them to work (if anyone can confirm/deny this,
  15. please let me know).  Thus, comparisons between the S3 and 8514/A are not
  16. possible at this time, but ET4000 comparisons are possible.

  18. I can borrow a friends ET4000 (not a local bus), and run some comparisons,
  19. but the problem is that I would need to have the correct Clocks and ModeDB
  20. for my system.  The card I would borrow is a Diamond Speedstar+, and the
  21. monitor I have is the Gateway 15".  If anyone has the setup, please e-mail
  22. me your Xconfig, so that I can run some tests.
