- If you buy an EISA machine that doesn't have on-board IDE and floppy
- controllers, all I can say is, hoo boy, did they see you coming! When
- you're buying EISA, you're shelling out big bucks (our EISA file server
- cost ~$7000 (but it had niceties like an STB PowerGraph Ergo 1024, dual
- Rimfire EISA SCSI controllers, dual Intel EtherExpress 32 NICs, etc... :-)
- If it's on-board, EISA or not doesn't matter; I've run linux off my server
- with absolutely _no_ problems. (Well, it refused to recognize the Rimfires,
- but that'll change once we get 32-bit SCSI support... :-) Just enable the
- on-board IDE, and awaaaaay we go!
