  29. After royally screwing up my first attempt at installing GCC2.2.2d (I
  30. started doing it the old way), I gave it another shot last night.  I
  31. started with a clean installation of the Linux 0.97 source, as explained
  32. in the Linux documentation.  Then I applied the first patch.  Then
  33. I installed GCC2.2.2d as explained in the GCC2.2.2d documentation, and
  34. after that I installed the second Linux patch and the TCP/IP stuff and
  35. everything compiled nicely!  Great job, guys.

  37. A suggestion for anyone having problems with GCC2.2.2d:  READ THE
  38. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS!!!
