  10. Followup to my X11 setup problems.
  11. I tried the timings.exe program, it seems to give unreliable values. Besides, you
  12. have to give it a BIOS mode number, it will switch to that mode and report the
  13. values. I would have really preferred a program that only reads the VGA timings,
  14. so that you can try it from a known mode. 
  15. Also, there is no source code. Could the person that wrote this post the code ?
  16. Or if anyone has hints on how to deduce video timings from vga registers...
