- If the FAQ says that, then the FAQ is out of date. I am running linux 0.97
- on a Compaq Deskpro 486/33M (one of the newer EISAs) with a Conner 302xx
- (I don't remember the exact drive number) IDE drive and 16MB memory. Linux
- runs just fine on it.
