  32. What problems are you having?  Saying that "it simply does not work"
  33. is not enough information.

  35. Are you using the cnews sources from raven?  Those sources have a better
  36. installation script than the ones on mwcbbs.

  38. Originally, when Esa Ahola and myself were fooling with cnews, we were
  39. going to send it to mwcbbs "as-is", after I had installed his changes
  40. to the code on my machine and tested them.  Rick Nickle decided to write
  41. an installation script and a set of instructions.  The instructions are
  42. about as easy as it gets.

  53. I have the cnews performance sources here, and I will be porting them
  54. fairly soon.  However, I will simply make the changes necessary to make
  55. it compile and run under 4.0, and then send the sources to mwcbbs.

  57. I'm still running my cnews binaries that I built when I was running 3.1.0.
  58. They run fine with 4.0.
