- What problems are you having? Saying that "it simply does not work"
- is not enough information.

- Are you using the cnews sources from raven? Those sources have a better
- installation script than the ones on mwcbbs.

- Originally, when Esa Ahola and myself were fooling with cnews, we were
- going to send it to mwcbbs "as-is", after I had installed his changes
- to the code on my machine and tested them. Rick Nickle decided to write
- an installation script and a set of instructions. The instructions are
- about as easy as it gets.

- I have the cnews performance sources here, and I will be porting them
- fairly soon. However, I will simply make the changes necessary to make
- it compile and run under 4.0, and then send the sources to mwcbbs.

- I'm still running my cnews binaries that I built when I was running 3.1.0.
- They run fine with 4.0.
