- USENIX has thousands of paying members at $165 per, SAGE has hundreds
- at $25 per. Seven board members times four meetings per year would
- break the SAGE bank instantly. In informal discussions, we feels the
- SAGE board meetings should be held at the two USENIXes, LISA, and
- possibly the new sysadmin conference in spring. Most board candidates
- I know of already attend at least two and sometimes three of these on
- their employers funding. Thus the incremental cost isn't as bad as it
- could be. I'm paying for LISA out of my own pocket this year, and it's
- amazing how much money you can save if you really work at it. :-)

- Yes.
