  25. USENIX has thousands of paying members at $165 per, SAGE has hundreds
  26. at $25 per.  Seven board members times four meetings per year would
  27. break the SAGE bank instantly.  In informal discussions, we feels the
  28. SAGE board meetings should be held at the two USENIXes, LISA, and
  29. possibly the new sysadmin conference in spring.  Most board candidates
  30. I know of already attend at least two and sometimes three of these on
  31. their employers funding.  Thus the incremental cost isn't as bad as it
  32. could be.  I'm paying for LISA out of my own pocket this year, and it's
  33. amazing how much money you can save if you really work at it.  :-)
