  12. I'm doing an independant study/R&D multimedia project here at Penn State
  13. in concert with IBM.  I am researching as many graphic formats on the IBM
  14. (and other systems) that I can find.

  16. Sure, there are the obvious ones, like .GIF and .PCX and such, but what I
  17. would like is input from everyone who knows the history of any of the graphic
  18. formats.  Who devloped them?  How long ago?  How many colors?  VGA?  SVGA?
  19. Do they have 24-bit capacity?  You know the poop.  Please e-mail them to
  20. me (and if enough people are interested I'll be happy to post a summary!)
