- Hi gang,
-
- I'm doing an independant study/R&D multimedia project here at Penn State
- in concert with IBM. I am researching as many graphic formats on the IBM
- (and other systems) that I can find.
-
- Sure, there are the obvious ones, like .GIF and .PCX and such, but what I
- would like is input from everyone who knows the history of any of the graphic
- formats. Who devloped them? How long ago? How many colors? VGA? SVGA?
- Do they have 24-bit capacity? You know the poop. Please e-mail them to
- me (and if enough people are interested I'll be happy to post a summary!)
-
- Thanks in advance!!
