  12. If your expectations have been set (in terms of functionality and
  13. capability) by Usenet, then you will have a hard time with P*.

  15. Because I like to spend time browsing, and I want to keep a good chunck
  16. of my money for other things besides computer services, I like P*.  The
  17. primary things I use it for is the bulleting boards and e-mail with my
  18. in-laws.  We've drastically reduced our phone bill.  Granted, the
  19. bulletin boards are not the speediest, nor do I like the "censorship",
  20. but it does give you access to wide variety of folks.

  22. I think its worth it, even if you do have to watch the dumb ads.
