- Concerning your UPS...

- 1) Take it apart. You will almost certainly have to replace the battery.
- Some electronics place, or somewhere like James Electronics (who have a
- catalog) will likely be able to provide a replacement.
- 2) Take it apart. There may be inline fuses in the battery leads. Many
- Tripp-Lite units have these, for example. Yours might too.

- You might also find a loose wire. There may be a relay that's stuck and/or
- corroded. Other parts may be corroded too, particularly if the old
- battery failed to maintain its integrity. If that is the case, you may
- have to rebuild a circuit board, most likely without being able to find a
- schematic.
