- most of the recent-(past 5-7 years)-UPSs have sealed cells and are
- "disposable" at certain locations, check local Fire Dept.

- usually UPS's need not have a load on them to "activate". But, this can be
- easily tested by putting a small fan or something of that low power usage on
- the output and trying it.
