- We are running smail3 release 26 (I think) here under SVR4 4.0
-
- I have noticed a problem with undeliverable email messages not
- being forwarded correctly.
-
- For example, mail comes in from the site bluemoon for the site
- ka3ovk. If ka3ovk doesn't pick up his email, I will get messages
- for the user bluemoon on this machine (in /usr/mail/bluemoon) that
- the email for ka3ovk is undeliverable - and that it will continue
- to try to deliver this traffic.
-
- The sites login to this machine using their uucp name, so bluemoon
- logs in as bluemoon, and ka3ovk logs in as ka3ovk. In /etc/passwd
- uucp accounts (like bluemoon and ka3ovk) have the same user and
- group assigned as uucp
-
- What is the problem?
