- Any suggestions on how to establish a UUCP connection (using the standard
- UUCP 'g' protocol) to an Internet host via a Telebit Netblazer dial-up
- line?
-
- As I understand it, the UUCP 'g' protocol needs an 8-bit binary data path.
- When I login to the Netblazer, I see there is a 'binary <session> on|off'
- command. However, I don't know the 'session' number until AFTER I telnet
- to the Internet host which is running 'uucpd'. Even then, I have to 'escape'
- back to the Netblazer and run a command to list current sessions. This all
- seems real interactive and beyond what a UUCP 'chat script' might be able to
- do. Is there some way to make this work? Thanks.
