- I have an Intel 2400ex, and haven't had any real problems with dialing out.
-
- I use UUPC. I can send the .mdm file if you would like. I think that it is
- pretty much standard. I have had some troubles with people dialing in to
- my machine. For a couple people, both running ISC unix, it seems to work ok
- most of the time, for others, one with Smailpc, one with Coherent, they
- just can't get anything to work.
-
- I haven't had a chance to mess with it, and see what I can do to get it
- up and running. I have a terminal that I can use to dial in, and if I can
- get a login, then it is just a matter of getting the dial scripts done,
- which is fairly easy :-).
-
- With the .mdm file... I haven't done any real configuration with it, but
- would like to toy with it a bit to see if I can get the modem to work a bit
- better. I have a feeling that things aren't really set up the way they should
- be.
-

- Nothing is ever going to be perfectly compatible unless it is what it is
- supposed to be compatible with! EG, I have never seen a terminal program
- that does VT100 as well as my 1977 VT100 terminal does. I don't really
- expect that I ever will.
