  16. I have an Intel 2400ex, and haven't had any real problems with dialing out.

  18. I use UUPC. I can send the .mdm file if you would like. I think that it is
  19. pretty much standard.  I have had some troubles with people dialing in to 
  20. my machine. For a couple people, both running ISC unix, it seems to work ok
  21. most of the time, for others, one with  Smailpc, one with Coherent, they
  22. just can't get anything to work.

  24. I haven't had a chance to mess with it, and see what I can do to get it 
  25. up and running. I have a terminal that I can use to dial in, and if I can
  26. get a login, then it is just a matter of getting the dial scripts done,
  27. which is fairly easy :-).

  29. With the .mdm file... I haven't done any real configuration with it, but
  30. would like to toy with it a bit to see if I can get the modem to work a bit
  31. better. I have a feeling that things aren't really set up the way they should
  32. be.

  36. Nothing is ever going to be perfectly compatible unless it is what it is
  37. supposed to be compatible with! EG, I have never seen a terminal program 
  38. that does VT100 as well as my 1977 VT100 terminal does. I don't really
  39. expect that I ever will.
