- I'm trying to use sendmail 5.61 (contained in AIX/370 1.2.1)
- to send via smtp, in a syncronous way, a mail to a TCP/IP
- connected node.
-
- I tried:
-
- /usr/lib/sendmail -odi -oeq
-
- and removed Os from sendmail.cf.
-
- Well it work if the node is available (the mail is not
- queued, but sent interactively), but if the node is not connected
- or it refuse the connection for some reason, the mail is still
- queued in the mailer queue.
-
- I tried BSD sendmail 5.65 too, with the same problem: I'm sure
- I'm missing something (maybe some in the sendmail.cf), but I need
- an sync smtp connection to a node without queueing.
-
- Anybody meet this problem before? Any solution?
-
- Thank in advance for any answer, Regards
-
