- A while back there was a discusion of using SMTP as the transport layer
- for TCP (or was it IP in general?). Granted this is extremely slow, but
- I have use for a similar application. I would not be using mail as the
- transport layer, but I would be using a tcp socket (for
- political/administrative reasons, a standard SLIP line is not available).
