  12. Some comments on 24 frames per second:
  13. 24 is the normal frame rate for film movies.
  14. Another thought is that 25 fps is the PAL (most of Europe) broadcasting
  15. standard.
  16. Film movies at 24 and video at 30 fps are transferred from one to the other
  17. via a method called 3-2 pulldown which corrects for the difference in 
  18. frame rate between the two.
