  14. This is addressed to everyone who is interested in the also interested in the
  15. IMAP2 protocol of RFC-1176 (and the evolving IMAP2bis extensions to that
  16. protocol) and/or the portable c-client library for writing email applications.

  18. Two new mailing lists:
  19.     IMAP@CAC.Washington.EDU
  20. and    c-client@CAC.Washington.EDU
  21. have been established for the purpose of discussing these topics.  These lists
  22. are intended to be low-volume, high-signal, and technical in nature.

  24. An announcement message has been sent to the current membership of both lists,
  25. which were based upon my incomplete notes of who had expressed an interest.
  26. If you have not received this announcement message, than it is likely that you
  27. are not on the list.
