  13. I believe I have found a bug in Eudora 1.3b46.  I changed the "Navigate
  14. In", "Navigate Out", and "telnet" (7400.13) strings and was able to
  15. successfully log in to my mail server.  Unfortunately, next time I tried it
  16. I got the message:

  18. "Sorry - the serial port selected is in use and is not available."
  19.  
  20. There is also a Comm Toolbox Icon with a little satellite dish in the
  21. message box.  This only happens after I gotten mail once with Eudora. 
  22. Eudora will always get the mail the first time I try regardless of any
  23. serial port software I may previously have run.

  25. It sounds to me like Eudora is not freeing the port after it is finished. 
  26. If my diagnosis is wrong, some one please correct me.  If it is right, I
  27. would appreciate knowing that Steve got the message.
