- I am using Elm 2.2 for unix. In reading the documentation for aliases (by
- David Taylor), I find described a very useful feature described: the
- hostname routing database. I am trying to figure out how to use this, but
- I am quite frustrated by the vague phrase: "... stored in the file
- pointed to by _pathfile_ for Elm (and other programs) to use."
-
- I do not understand where I am to put the file. Should it be in a special
- place? Should it have a special name? Should I set an environment
- variable to point to the file? Has anyone ever used this feature? I've
- tried all of the obvious things. Help????
