  11. hi,
  12.     we wish to install mit scheme on apollo series 700 machines.
  13. i ftp'd the archive/scheme-7.2/ README and INSTALL files from
  14. altdorf.ai.mit.edu but there does not seem to be direct binaries
  15. suitable for the hp machine. then i got the source code (src.tar.Z)
  16. and unpacked it. i tried to make the microcode directory but the
  17. assembler gives an error message and stops.
  18.     could someone please tell me exactly what needs to be done
  19. to get scheme up on these hp machines? ask any questions and i will
  20. get an answer about the model # etc.
