- Indeed! I agree that there is no reason to do people's homework for
- them, but there has been a strong tendency in this newsgroup to
- discourage elementary questions in general.

- We should ask ourselves who this newsgroups is for. Only for experts
- or at least proficient prolog users, or also for beginners? If we
- accept beginners, then we should also be prepared to answer simple
- questions without remarks like "you should read book X by Y before
- opening your mouth".
