- I'd like the summary, if he's still reading. I've got a program called
- GIFINFO.EXE that I downloaded from a BBS a couple of years ago. It will
- take *.GIF in a directory and spit out a list of parameters for each
- image on the screen -- height, width, colors, and a couple of other
- things. The problems I have with it are:

- 1. It chokes and dies on Gif 89a format -- only handles 87a!
- 2. Ignores redirection -- writes directly to screen, so to
- save the information, I have to use PC Magazine's Snipper.Com
- to copy it from video memory to a file.

- I'd like to re-code it to something useful (and post the code!) so
- as to include filesize/date/time (as options) as well (which GIFINFO
- doesn't support!)...
