  25. I'd like the summary, if he's still reading.  I've got a program called
  26. GIFINFO.EXE that I downloaded from a BBS a couple of years ago.  It will
  27. take *.GIF in a directory and spit out a list of parameters for each
  28. image on the screen -- height, width, colors, and a couple of other
  29. things.  The problems I have with it are:
  30.  
  31.   1.  It chokes and dies on Gif 89a format -- only handles 87a!
  32.   2.  Ignores redirection -- writes directly to screen, so to
  33.       save the information, I have to use PC Magazine's Snipper.Com
  34.       to copy it from video memory to a file.

  36. I'd like to re-code it to something useful (and post the code!) so 
  37. as to include filesize/date/time (as options) as well (which GIFINFO
  38. doesn't support!)...
