- I have an 80286, but I will eventually upgrade to 486 so I am moderately
- interested.

- I've never bought a compiler that cost more than $125.00 including
- tax, title, license, shipping, and extras that are available for the
- compiler. If the compiler is in this price range, but more extras
- with the available extras I don't buy it on the principal that the
- company will nickel and dime me to death forever and the system is
- probably not even functional without the extras. In the past Borland,
- Microsoft, and several others have sold complete packages in this
- range.
-

- Yes!!!!!
-
- > Would you be less interested if it required a separate linker?
- If it's the DOS linker, no. If the linker is not DOS's linker
- but it's free then no again.

- Yuch!!!!

- A lot.

- I use Ada at work but at home I would like to play around with a
- an object oriented langauge, which Ada isn't. I have C++ at home
- and one of the Turbo Pascal versions with object extensions but
- neither were designed as an object oriented language from the
- start like Oberon/Oberon-2. Oberon is one of the simpliest object
- oriented langauges around.
