  10. The term has begun, and my course in functional programming, which
  11. uses Bird and Wadler: Introduction to Functional Programming, has
  12. about 50 people rather than the 40 I judged to be max.  I need
  13. about 10 more copies of the text.

  15. Yes, I know about bookstores.  But Prentice-Hall now lists B&W as 'out
  16. of print' in the U.S., and its warehouse is empty.  (My local P-H
  17. salesman has been very helpful in checking things out.) Additional
  18. copies will have to come from England with either a three week delay or
  19. a premium price.

  21. Any pointers to bookstores with multiple copies would be much
  22. appreciated!  We need texts right now!
