- Hi everybody.
-
- I've got several Fortran 77 programs that I would like to run using the
- Windows 3.0 enviroment in a 386 or 486 PC. For that purpose, I'll use the
- Microsoft compiler. Yeah, I know there are better compilers under DOS, but I'm
- trying to give these programs a graphical user interface using Microsoft Visual
- Basic.
-
- So, my questions are:
-
- - Has anyone tried this combination (Ms Visual Basic + Ms Fortran) ?
- Does it work ok? Anything I should be aware of?
-
- - May I use other compiler than Microsoft (i.e., Lahey) and still can use a
- Visual Basic program as a front end?
-
- - Is there a better way to give a Fortran program a GUI under Windows 3.0?
-
- Thanks a lot in advance.
