  12.     I know this probably gets asked all the time, but
  13. does anyone have a good, "free" implementation of socket
  14. communications using C++ classes that runs under gcc-2.2.2
  15. and is simple?  I checked the FAQ and it didn't say anything.
  16. It doesn't necessarily even have to use iostreams.
