- There are no plans for a C++ version of Numerical Recipes.
-
- A professor I know was talking to William Press, the first author of
- Numerical Recipes in C, yesterday. He asked Press about the C++ version
- and the reply was that there are no plans for one. But there are
- plans for a new version of Numerical Recipes in C for later this year.
- I am unsure what will be "new" about the new version.
-
- If you are looking for C++ numerical code take a look at the file
- c/free-c on research.att.com (login the ftp as netlib not anonymous).
- It it contains pointer to numerical C++ software some of it adapted
- from Numerical Recipes. With time, I am sure more code will be adapted.
-
- I hope this helps.
