- I just ordered Borland C++ with Application Framework from a mail order
- house. Did I shoot myself in the foot?
-
- Here's the problem: I have a 286 with 1 meg of memory. A review in the
- last issue of PC Magazine indicated a meg of extended memory is also required.
- I called Borland, and was told the compiler would run on my machine. With
- that confirmation, I went ahead and ordered. I only want to run under DOS,
- developing for DOS with TurboVision, for the time being. Am I going to be
- able to, or am I going to have to shell out for extended memory??
-
- Email me if you think this question is too elementary to interest the
- entire group.
