  12. If textbooks for single courses are hitting the $50-$75 level *for a _single_
  13. course*, then I cannot see that asking students to drop a few hundred on
  14. a manual set they will use over and over again (possibly beyond graduation)
  15. is the least bit unreasonable.  I strongly suspect that the more motivated
  16. students do so.  I recognize that some may be trying to save money, but see
  17. sentence #1.
