  10. This is for those of you who haven't looked for a job
  11. in the Bay Area in computer graphics.  There are a lot of you
  12. and a lot more coming I'm sure so you should know that...
  13.  
  14. .  headhunters are valuable resources but haven't much time for
  15. those of you without LOCAL experience.  This can be a shock if
  16. you've worked for four or five years at something you figure your
  17. good at, you enjoy, and you want to help others do.

  19. .  a headhunter MAY say something to you like "If your not willing
  20. to commute a hundred miles a day, work 60 to 80 hours a week,
  21. and take orders, there are others who will."
  22.  
  23. .  if asked by headhunter "What do you really want to do?" don't
  24. say "Eat, I guess."  The charming headhunter may say "I'm sure you
  25. will eat." and show you the door.

  27. This happened to me and I'm doing fine so don't worry about those
  28. two car garages stuffed with Acuras and chain link fence around the
  29. tennis court and health insurance and paying for your kids college.
