  12.    Version 2.0 of x3d, a 3D wireframe / hidden line / hidden surface viewer
  13. that runs under X11, is now available via anonymous ftp at
  14. castlab.engr.wisc.edu (144.92.60.140) and is found as /pub/x3d.2.0.tar.Z.

  16. The new version has some bugs and needs quite a bit of work yet, but should
  17. be quite usable.  The following features have been added since 1.5:
  18.  
  19. 1) Support multiple colors for the non-stereo modes.
  20. 2) A new conversion utility that understands polygons.
  21. 3) Better optimized rotate, project, clip routines
  22. 4) Hidden line / Hidden surface display modes
