- Hi
-
- This is probably a FAQ, and im far from sure that this is the right group to
- send this to, but I'm interested in buying a SVGA video adapter and monitor
- to upgrade my dubious Hercules. Naturally, i know very little about said
- devices, and am wary of trusting some arbitrarily selected salesperson.
-
- Any general info regarding :
-
- (1) The differences between makes, reliability, capability, etc,
- (2) The precise implications of .28, etc pixel size,
- (3) The definition of a HI-rez monitor as apposed to whatever,
- (4) Compatibility differences between cards using different chip sets with
- common applications,
- (5) Whatever..
-
- would be greatly appreciated.
-
- Thanks, Ash.
